The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Work side by side with a company founder as a trusted right hand, converting shifting priorities into organized initiatives and seeing them through to completion. The position spans several business areas and rewards sound judgment, numerical skill and a hands-on approach.

What you'll do

- Shape vague goals into structured workplans with assigned responsibility, timelines and clear outcomes.

- Run initiatives that involve multiple departments, such as pricing new products, supplier selection, process improvement, financial analysis and hiring.

- Step in on time-sensitive matters, keep stakeholders aligned and drive each item to resolution without being prompted.

- Produce short memos, financial models, reporting views and decision logs that inform leadership choices.

- Partner with technical experts and external providers when an initiative calls for software, data or automation work.

Requirements

What we're looking for

- A track record of leading complex initiatives across several teams and delivering results that can be measured.

- Background as a founder, a member of an executive office, or an operator.

- Strong analytical judgment, including advanced spreadsheet modeling, unit economics and financial modeling.

- Excellent written communication, sound prioritization, discretion and confident dealings with stakeholders.

- Self-motivation, dependability and willingness to roll up your sleeves.

- Comfort with AI tools, software and data in everyday work, including checking their output; programming is not needed.

- Authorization to work in Canada.

- Ability to work on-site five days per week.

- Additional technical depth in AI, software, data or automation.

- Base salary: CAD 71,000 to 106,000 per year
