AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $31.89 ou/or $50.25 (2024-2025)

Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.


These rates do not include vacation pay nor statutory pay.

Requirements (Faculty):

Completion of 3 years of University level Physics or equivalent.


TA: 130h

Marking/Grading: Up to 68 hours of marking and grading.
Contact with students: Up to 16 hours of DGD.
Preparation: Up to 24 hours of prep time / course material development.
Contact with students: Up to 12 hours of office hours, helping students
Other Duties: 4 hours of proctoring of a final exam.

Please note: the proctoring of a final exam will be assigned by the Faculty of Science.

Other Duties: Up to 6 hours of proctoring, course evaluation, preparing demos etc.

TA: 65h

Marking/Grading: Up to 17 hours of marking and grading.
Contact with students: Up to 16 hours of DGD.
Preparation: Up to 24 hours of prep time / course material development.
Other Duties: 4 hours of proctoring of a final exam.

Please note: the proctoring of a final exam will be assigned by the Faculty of Science.

Other Duties: Up to 4 hours of proctoring midterms, preparing demos etc.

Please note that some streamlining of duties (for example having all marking and no DGDs) and the accommodation of varying schedules (including trips) might be possible but cannot be guaranteed and based on mutual agreement with the group.
