Job Description:

Note: This job posting is for multiple Temporary, Short-Term Casual Part-Time vacancies (up to 24 hours per week) beginning late August 2026 and running for 2 to 3 weeks (with possibility for extension).

Shifts will occur during the extended store operating hours from Monday to Friday between 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., and weekends from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Availability to work on Labour Day weekend and the first two weeks of September is a requirement.

These positions work in-person at 1001 Fanshawe College Boulevard, London, Ontario.

How You'll Make an Impact

Under the direction of the Manager, Ancillary Operations, the incumbent provides front-line customer support services including sales counter and floor duties, and performs related tasks such as telephone reception, receiving, recording, handling and distribution of books and merchandise.

What You'll Bring

  • Completion of some post-secondary education is required

  • Minimum one-year customer service and/or cash handling experience in a retail setting

  • Experience with a Point-of-Sale system is an asset

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and as a team

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
