Our client is a consumer products company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Lead a group of consumer product lines as the accountable business owner, setting direction and steering day-to-day results. The work spans the product lifecycle, financial performance and team building, with support from outside contractors and technical specialists.

What you'll do

- Set and deliver the growth strategy for a group of product lines, expanding across current and new sales channels.

- Run the full product lifecycle, from concept and supplier selection to price setting, market positioning and presentation to shoppers.

- Manage customer conversion and retention, along with stock levels and cash flow.

- Watch the financial health of the business through revenue, margin, customer acquisition and working capital measures.

- Apply forecasting and unit-level modelling to steer the business toward profitable expansion.

- Direct external contractors and gradually assemble a lean, high-performing team.

- Collaborate with technical experts to put in place tools that make routine work trackable and consistent.

Requirements

What we're looking for

- A record of full P&L-style accountability, with quantifiable outcomes from starting or scaling a business unit or product line.

- Strong numerical ability, including advanced spreadsheet modelling and forecasting.

- A self-starter who communicates clearly and executes independently amid uncertainty.

- Experience as a founder, in consumer or e-commerce roles, in content creation, or spearheading new ventures within a larger organization.

- A history of fast advancement or senior leadership during a period of company growth.

- Everyday use of AI tools in your work.

- Comfort creating something new with very little existing structure.

- Canadian work authorization and the ability to work on-site five days a week.

- Base salary: CAD 106,000 to 176,000 per year
