Make an impact as an Onboarding Analyst for our Managed Services Practice. This opportunity is a 6-month term position, with flexibility for part time and full-time work arrangement to suit your current academic program. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless transition for new clients by collaborating with various teams, including Service, Projects, and Sales. What you will do:
- Participate in implementing and managing client projects to completion.
- Create, update, and maintain client documentation.
- Documenting new client sites and onsite infrastructure.
- Define new client processes and documentation standards.
- Install and maintain infrastructure as directed by project requirements.
- Collaborate efficiently with team members, internal resources, and other departments.
- Ability to seize valuable opportunities effectively.
- Provide an outstanding client experience and superior customer service.
Who we are looking for:
- A minimum of 5 years of professional IT experience is required.
- A relevant technical post-secondary degree or diploma.
- Possess exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Willingness for travel to client locations, including remote areas.
- Capable of staying composed in stressful situations while maintaining a positive and assured presence.
- Intermediate knowledge of Windows, Windows Server, and Office Suite.
- Intermediate knowledge of email services, including Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365.
- Intermediate knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), NTFS, and share permissions.
- Intermediate knowledge of networking, including DNS, DHCP, routing, VPNs, and common ISP services.
- Basic knowledge of third-party applications utilized by clients.
- Basic knowledge of backup software and strategies.
- Basic knowledge of database services, including Microsoft SQL.
- Basic knowledge of VMware and virtualization.
- Familiarity with desktop hardware, installation, and diagnosing of issues.
- Familiarity with network, server, and storage hardware.
- Knowledge of security measures and attack methods used by malicious entities.
- Available for overtime on evenings and weekends.
- Commitment to continual professional development and certification paths.
- Independent, self-managing work ethic with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong time management skills coupled with the understanding of the importance for detailed time and expense tracking.
- Must possess a vehicle, valid driver’s license, and appropriate business-class insurance.
- Ability to multitask and deal with conflicting priorities
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and various stakeholders.
