Our purpose is to constantly innovate to evolve and maintain the Corporation's technologies and infrastructure, enabling the creation and continued delivery of quality content across all platforms. Today, we are transforming ourselves into a modern and agile public service media organization. Technology is the driving force and we are the team making it happen.

Your Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Strategic Alignment and Engagement, the Junior Specialist plays a pivotal role in nurturing corporate culture and enhancing the employee experience within CBC/Radio-Canada’s Technology & Infrastructure (T&I) division.

You will collaborate with clients and partners to deliver ad hoc communications support while co-ordinating and rolling out events and initiatives that drive active participation, team cohesion and a sense of community. In this role, you will leverage your interpersonal strengths, writing flair and graphic design talent to build meaningful relationships and produce compelling copy and visual content.
We are seeking a versatile communicator with a keen interest in technology and employee engagement. You bring exceptional bilingual writing abilities (French and English), sharp analytical thinking and the skill to quickly distil complex technical concepts into clear, captivating messaging and eye-catching visual designs.
Outstanding interpersonal skills will enable you to thrive as an advocate for team culture and create the type of engaging content required for the role.
The position can be based in Toronto or Montreal.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather content for, design and share internal communications materials with the goal of building a unified, engaging culture within T&I.
- Create and maintain communication channels and platforms targeting T&I, including the newsletter, staff portal and iO pages.

- Connect with T&I team members to boost engagement and uncover inspiring stories that build pride and belonging.
- Actively support the development and rollout of engagement programs and campaigns that inspire employee participation.
- Apply graphic design expertise to create dynamic, high-impact visuals tailored to various communication channels.
- Stay aligned with CBC/Radio-Canada and T&I strategic priorities — specifically regarding official languages, equity, diversity and inclusion — to ensure consistent, relevant and effective messaging.
- Help define T&I’s voice, culture and brand to ensure clear recognition and strong resonance among staff.
- Actively contribute to co-ordinating and promoting corporate and T&I initiatives.
- Adhere to and promote organizational content accessibility standards.
