Responsibilities

  • Physically demanding role reporting to the assigned foreman
  • Work in a large manufacturing facility and yard in various indoor/outdoor conditions, heat/cold, and a fast-paced environment
  • Perform complex tasks and operate small equipment
  • Complete pre-use inspections of lifting gear
  • Choose the appropriate rigging hardware and hitches
  • Safely lift steel, pipes, and structural material

What We’re Looking For From You

  • Over 3 years of experience loading trailers required
  • Over 3 years of hands-on rigging experience in industrial or construction settings
  • Minimum Grade 12 or GED
  • Valid Driver’s License with a current 5-Year Driver’s Abstract
  • Previous experience completing Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHAs)
  • Good knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting/handling procedures
  • Zoom Boom or Forklift ticket is an asset (not required)
  • CSO Ticket
  • Physically fit and agile: ability to lift up to 60 lbs, work at heights, and ascend/descend ladders
  • Excellent communication, verbal, and listening skills with strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Proven safety attitude and excellent attendance history
