JOB SUMMARY:Reporting to the Director, Contract Management Office (CM0), the Leader, Contracts Advisory is responsible for the overall management of all service contracts advisory across the health authority, supported by the assigned Contracts Advisors for the designated Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) Community of Care (CoC). This position provides advisory for multi-million dollar contracts across the Mental Health Housing, Group Home, Mental Health and Substance Use (MHSU) beds, and Residential Services portfolios. Additionally, this position develops, implements, monitors, and makes recommendations for mitigation of variances in service delivery and funding of assigned CoC contracted service partners.The Leader, Contracts Advisory provides leadership in the delivery of client care with a focus on coordination and integration of contracted services across one or more CoC. Partners with VCH and assigned CoC Financial Planning, and VCH Legal to ensure negotiated financial and service arrangements are in line with organizational standards, practices, guidelines and budgetary constraints. Maintains current knowledge of generative AI, automation and emerging technologies and provides leadership in evaluating and implementing responsible, business-focused solutions that strengthen performance management, executive reporting and operational effectiveness. The Leader, Contracts Advisory leads or participates in identified contract management projects, proposes new initiatives, liaises with other VCH programs, and manages stakeholder engagement, communications and quality improvement activities, supported by the Quality Improvement and Customer Service team of the CMOQUALIFICATIONS:Master’s Degree in Business Administration or related field, supplemented by seven to ten (7 to 10) years’ recent, related experience managing clinical services contracts or a combination of education, training and experience.
