POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director of Development, the Public Education and Training Administrator will play a central role in the coordination of education and training opportunities provided by Klinic. The incumbent will work with internal teams to schedule, plan, and execute a variety of workshops and trainings, and manage ongoing promotional and outreach activities to ensure attendance goals are met.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Grade 12 Graduate, Manitoba Standards.
- An undergraduate degree or diploma in a related field (e.g. Business Administration).
- Coursework/certification in adult and/or continuing education is an asset.
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience planning, coordinating and implementing staff education sessions and events.
- A combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing strategies including but not limited to outreach, communication, education and/or social media strategies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook).
- Demonstrated experience preparing public facing content for a variety of audiences including reports, posters, brochures, letters, social media content, etc.
- Demonstrated experience with a variety of digital software (Canva, WordPress, HootSuite, ConstantContact) is required.

- Demonstrated experience writing reports.

- Demonstrated ability to effectively liaise with other organizations, develop and maintain partnerships.
- Demonstrated ability to be future focused and anticipate future needs.
- Knowledge of community health services an asset.
- Satisfactory Criminal Record, Child Abuse and Adult Abuse Registry checks.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordination:
- Develop and oversee the creation of a public education action plan that outlines measurable goals, priorities, key milestones and timelines, and ensure deliverables are on time and achieved.
- Track registrations and invoices.
- Set-up workshops and trainings on BOOKWHEN.
- Work collaboratively with departments and committees to plan, organize, and execute internal and external educational offerings.
- Co-ordinate group and staff schedules for delivery of internal and external training sessions.
- Develop and maintain systems that promote effective service delivery and accessibility.
- Participates in developing protocols and policies that promote effective service delivery and team functioning.
- Compiles administrative and funding reports as required.
- Assists in coordinating and implementing program evaluation activities.
- Books and attends program meetings, provides meeting minutes and action items to ensure continuous and successful program delivery.
- Support the coordination and administration of internal processes to ensure mandatory educational training and workshops are documented in personnel files.
- Works collaboratively with internal Klinic teams to ensure cohesive team and program functioning.
- Maintains inventory of education material for outreach activities.
Communications and Outreach
- Develop partnerships with external stakeholders to promote public education offerings.
- Works closely with Klinic’s communication department to create front-facing material including digital media, graphics, newsletter content, brochures, posters, etc.
- Develops and implements communication and outreach processes to ensure successful promotion and delivery of training and public education offerings.
- Builds and maintains a central outreach list of external agencies and partners.
- Posts and provide updates to Klinic’s digital media outlets as needed.
- Works alongside internal departments to ensure public education goals are met.
- Acts as backup to the communications team to support digital content requests as needed
SALARY RANGE : $27.112 to $32.372 per hour
