Department: School of Arts & Design – Digital Cinematography
Location: College Drive Campus – North Bay, ON
Contract Duration: January 11, 2027 – April 23, 2027 (14 weeks excluding Reading Week)

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Cinematography or equivalent in/or related field to the course outlined. A Master's is considered an asset.
• Previous post-secondary teaching experience informed by excellence with various learning
• theories and methods
• Highly effective communication, presentation, and organizational skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of student success strategies in a post-secondary setting
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in learning management systems, as well as the use of remote delivery and educational technologies
• Previous teaching experience is an asset
• In-class delivery, must be able to reliably commute to the College Drive Campus in North Bay, ON required
Responsibilities:
• Plan, deliver, and evaluate effective learning related to:
◦ DCM210-01 – Writing Skills for Film and Media II
2 hours/week
Mondays: 2:30 – 4:20 p.m.
◦ DCM210-02-01 – Writing Skills for Film and Media II
2 hours/week
Tuesdays: 2:30 – 4:20 p.m.
◦ DCM240-01 – Sound Production I
3 hours/week
Mondays: 5:30 – 8:20 p.m.
◦ DCM240-02 – Sound Production I
3 hours/week
Tuesdays: 5:30 – 8:20 p.m.
• Work closely with students and colleagues to provide an optimal learning environment
• Perform all responsibilities associated with the learning environment including preparation, delivery, and evaluation of theory and practical learning activities
