Job Title: Professors (Part-Time) - Small Engine Apprenticeship (Level 1)
Department: School of Trades and Technology – Motive Power Program
Location: Commerce Court Campus – North Bay, ON
Contract Duration: October 26, 2026 - December 18, 2026 (8 weeks)

Qualifications:
• Certificate of Qualification in Small Engine Mechanic required
• Minimum three years of recent industry experience
• Experience teaching or mentoring apprentices is considered an asset
• Excellent interpersonal skills and superior oral and written communication skills
• Previous teaching experience will be considered an asset
• Must be able to reliably commute to the Commerce Court Campus in North Bay, ON required
Responsibilities:
• Teach the curriculum for the eight-week block release for Level 1 Small Engine apprenticeship program
• Work closely with students and colleagues to provide an optimal learning environment
• Perform all responsibilities associated with the learning environment including preparation, delivery, and evaluation of theory and practical learning activities
