About the Position
Duties and Responsibilities
- Dump and load trucks and railcars
- Operate a grain dryer
- Assist with grain handling including shipping and receiving of grain commodities, grading procedures & bin cleanout procedures
- General housekeeping duties
- General maintenance, as needed
- All other duties required
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitude
- Computer literacy is a bonus
- Proactive and results oriented
- Highly organized
- Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in team setting when needed
Education or Work Experience
- High school education or equivalent
Additional Information
- History of working safely and a reputation for promoting and getting involved in safety improvement efforts
- Work in accordance with local/provincial legislation
- Understands and is accountable for full compliance with safety and other EHS requirements
- Exhibit regular and prompt attendance
- Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc)
- All candidates must have authorization and the ability to maintain authorization to legally work in Canada.
