SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST - UP TO 0.8 FTE - PART-TIME TEMPORARY

This person will demonstrate honesty, respect, and integrity in their work with students, families, and colleagues, and will be a curious learner for life as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Prairie Spirit School Division.
Prairie Spirit School Division is the largest rural school division in Saskatchewan, with approximately 11,500 students and 45 schools located in 28 communities surrounding the City of Saskatoon, and including three First Nations and nine Hutterian communities. Prairie Spirit has a dedicated team of professional and support staff serving PreK to grade 12 students.
Speech Language Pathologists work collaboratively with our dedicated team of professional and support staff to create a positive learning environment as part of our vision of Learners for Life. SLPs administer formal and informal assessments, make programming recommendations, and assist in monitoring student progress. By providing direct service to students and support to school teams, SLPs help students to meet their learning outcomes and demonstrate independence in an inclusive setting.
The successful candidate for this position will work according to the Prairie Spirit calendar, observing working and holiday days as followed by teaching staff. This position is up to 0.8 FTE (candidates are welcome to apply for any FTE up to 0.8).
The successful candidate will:
- Have a master's degree in the area of responsibility.
Be a member of, and licensed with, the College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (CSASK).
