World Waterpark Guest Services Attendants are responsible for coordinating the sales of products and services of World Waterpark, ensuring that guests have a fun and memorable experience.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Providing information on World Waterpark’s hours of operations, events, rental spaces, programming, park concessions and attractions.
• Assisting with calls for birthdays, Toddler Time information, park status, and rentals bookings.
• Processing daily admissions, rentals, Choice Passes, birthday parties, and tickets for various events held in the World Waterpark.
• Cashing out and balancing sales at the end of every shift.
• Contacting customers regarding bookings, parties, emailing and faxing information and confirmation.
• Working shifts in the Guest Services and Tube Shack ticketing area.
• Lifting boxes or items up to 20kg.
• Keeping all areas clean and stocked.
• Maintaining a professional dress code at all times being the first representative of World Waterpark.
• Assisting in other duties as assigned.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience working successfully with a variety of employees, including mentoring employees new to the workforce. Previous experience in a Supervisory role in the retail industry is considered an asset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills complemented by team building and motivational abilities.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook as well the ability to adapt to other software programs as required.
• Previous experience handling cash and providing quality customer service with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
• This is a part-time position that requires flexible availability Monday through Sunday, days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to pass a basic security clearance.
