Position Description: The Professor, Plumbing Apprenticeship and Plumbing Techniques is responsible for providing academic leadership and for developing an
effective, learning-centered environment for students through the design and
delivery of curriculum within the School of Apprenticeship and Skilled Trades
at George Brown Polytechnic. The professor will teach courses to students in
the Plumbing
Techniques Certificate Program and the 306A Plumber
Apprenticeship Program, in addition to other diploma,
certificate, and apprenticeship-level courses when required.

Candidates seeking full-time faculty positions with the Polytechnic must demonstrate the ability to design, facilitate and assess learning in accordance with adult learning principles and Universal Design for Learning (UDL).
Interview process will consist of a mock teaching experience and, in some cases, a practical skills component.
